From the seed
to grain

Building a responsible agricultural sector

At ID GRAIN, we adopt a unique approach and responsible by bringing together the seed and grain professions. This integration, unique on the market, allows the development of skills in the genetic, agronomic and technological fields.  In our opinion, a seed must be adapted to its environment, be productive and meet the needs of manufacturers and consumers.

Our goal is to shorten the link between the researcher, the producer, the distributor, the collector and the processor. Thanks to our expertise in sustainable crop production, we strengthen the links of the agricultural sector to guarantee a local, traceable and quality production network.

Meeting industrial and environmental needs

At ID GRAIN, our research program is specially adapted to the needs expressed by our industrial clients while integrating current environmental imperatives. We develop innovative varieties such as our rapeseed with high erucic oil potential intended for green chemistry. These products significantly reduce the use of fossil raw materials, thus contributing to the sustainability of the agricultural sector.

Developing varieties for an efficient and sustainable agricultural plant production chain

Our Varieties are designed to meet the growing demands of manufacturers. We favor species with low input requirements, such as buckwheat, and we are focusing our efforts on improving the protein contents of the chickpea and bean. This approach not only guarantees optimized yields but also more respectful management of natural resources and a reduction in environmental impacts for a sustainable vision of the agricultural sector.

Collaborate with industry players

We work closely with our industrial and institutional partners to develop solutions adapted to contemporary agricultural challenges. This cooperation, strengthening each link in the agricultural sector, allows us to identify specific market needs and guide our efforts research and development towards innovations that meet the expectations of the entire agricultural value chain.

Promotion of regional initiatives and institutional collaboration

At ID GRAIN, we actively support the organization of plant production chains by participating in regional initiatives such as FILEG and LEGGO.

The initiative FILEG (Filière Légumineuses en Occitanie) aims to create a sustainable regional sector, for human and animal food, by mobilizing private and public stakeholders.
Collective LEGGO (Légumineuses à Graines du Grand-Ouest) brings together players from production to catering with the aim of promoting these plant proteins.

As members of the FNLS (Fédération Nationale des Légumes Secs), we are committed to strengthening ties within our sector and promoting sustainable and responsible agricultural practices.

Collaboration with technical institutes for innovative agronomic practices

We work closely with recognized technical institutes to improve the agronomic practices and harvesting conditions of our crops. This cooperation allows us to integrate the latest scientific and technological advances into our agricultural practices, thus ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly production.

Network of national and international partners

ID GRAIN develops and relies on a solid network of French and international partners. This strategy allows us to strengthen our capacities in research, development, production and marketing. We are thus able to offer specific services to our customers, such as market information, agronomic advice and industrial solutions for the storage and cleaning-sorting of seeds.

Contractualization: the keystone of our company

Agricultural markets are increasingly volatile and unpredictable, and subject to ever-increasing demands for quality and environmental impact reduction from manufacturers and consumers. In this context, it is even more difficult to organize the production and marketing of specific grains.

Our contractualization approach is a strong commitment that helps stabilize and make production more reliable in order to ensure the supply of markets and plant production chains.
Our contractualization offers are relevant solutions to meet the expectations of manufacturers and producers.

ID GRAIN aims to be a key player in the development of plant production chains and an effective, clear and rapid link between the different players. Our relationships with manufacturers of all sizes allow us to better understand their needs and to be able to respond to them thanks to our research and development. Our production network established throughout France makes our contracts reliable and secure in terms of quantity and quality. Our intervention on all links in the production chainsallows a better distribution of added value between the different players.

Our goal is to be a dynamic and innovative link between producers and manufacturers. thanks to the construction of effective collaborative links with stakeholders in the plant production chains.
This partnership model is based on key values such as transparency, trust and a sustainable vision of economic development.

Contractualization: a key role in structuring partnerships:

Contractualization has many advantages:

  • Guaranteed outlets for producers
  • Securing supplies for manufacturers
  • Product quality and traceability
  • The ability to develop a “producer/collector/industrial” partnership in order to build efficient and sustainable plant production chains

To ensure this success, ID GRAIN is setting up a system of regular and constructive exchanges in order to strengthen the links between the different stakeholders in agricultural sector : breeders, producers, distributors, collectors and processors.

Thanks to its expertise and in-depth knowledge of agricultural markets, our company ensures a clear and responsive interface.
