Our Bird Feed offer
Diversity of our product range
Thanks to our extensive product range, we are able to establish production contracts across the entire French territory, ensuring a steady and high-quality supply for the factories of Europe's leading bird feed manufacturers.
Our seeds are grown following strict protocols to ensure consistent quality and meet our clients' specifications.
Sunflower : The Flagship of our Bird Feed range
Sunflower seeds are rich in oil, making them an excellent source of energy and essential nutrients for birds. Sunflower seeds intended for bird feed must meet strict quality criteria, such as size (neither too large nor too small) and the contrast of black and white stripes.
Although these characteristics are largely genetically determined, cultivation techniques can influence seed size. This specific market offers higher remuneration for producers (premium production), compared to standard sunflower, thanks to a well-managed value chain in this specific sector.
Our offer includes striped varieties in various sizes (small striped, medium and large striped) as well as white-seeded varieties.
Thanks to its research and selection activity, ID GRAIN develops new high-performance sowing seeds, particularly suited to this market. The varieties SUNBIRD SII ID, SUNBIRD S5 ID, SUNBIRD S7 ID, SUNBIRD LII ID and SUNBIRD W ID are now widely cultivated in Europe and integrated into industrial blending ranges.
